Immediate opening for a Full-Time Fire Protection Subcode Official. Hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 am – 3:00 pm, or other hours arranged by the Construction Official or the Township Administrator. Essential functions include conducting plan reviews, performing inspections, and enforcing the provisions of the State of New Jersey Uniform Construction Code pertaining to Fire Protection Subcode Official/Housing Inspector in accordance with N.J.A.C. 5:23-3.  The Fire Protection Subcode Official shall make decisions with respect to fire and housing inspection issues as necessary. Qualified candidates must hold a State of New Jersey license certification as a Fire Protection Inspector HHS and an administrative license of Fire Protection Subcode Official pursuant to NJAC 5:23-5.7.
