POLICE OFFICER: Redwood Falls (population 5,100), in southwestern Minnesota is seeking applications for a full-time police officer. Candidates must be licensed by the Minnesota POST Board or be eligible to be licensed by date of appointment.  Must have a minimum of an Associate of Arts degree from an accredited college or university in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, or a similar program.  Preferred candidates will have previous Law Enforcement experience and a Bachelor’s degree.  Candidates must also possess a valid driver’s license. The recently updated January 2024 salary range is $30.60/hourly to $40.70/hourly with additional opportunities for up to $3,200.00 per year in approved program certificate pay and includes an excellent benefit package. Candidates that apply with previous law enforcement experience also have the potential to have that experience taken into account when being placed in the salary range.
