The Susquehanna Township Police Department has opened applications for the position of police officer for applicants who are either ACT 120 Certified or are in a Pennsylvania Municipal Police Academy pursuing ACT 120 certification.

The starting salary is $55,900.00 with a $20,000.00 Bonus. Susquehanna Township is in Dauphin County and borders the City of Harrisburg. Currently complimented with 44 full time Officers. Candidates can also purchase up to five years’ previous military service and/or three years of previous Act 120 Law Enforcement time towards Retirement. Retirement does include a COLA and 15 years of paid medical benefits. A five-year Officer in 2024 will make $107.214.03
